I stare off into the distance, seeing and yet not seeing the backyard I stand in. My feet hover at the edge of the downward sloping hill, my eyes roaming across the expanse, beholding myself swinging from the tree rope with my friends. Dear Friends, We write to you today as a family united in grief with the most sad news. On August 19th 2019 Leonid Afremov has passed away in the general hospital of Playa Del Carmen. He has suffered a cardiac arrest during a routine check up in his home by his treating cardiologist. He preformed CPR on him before the arrival of the ambulance . Despite all the efforts of the doctors the hospital , Leonid was not able to recover. He was survived by his wife, 2 sons and 4 grandchildren. The same day in the afternoon he was buried in a quiet tradicional Jewish ceremony in the municipal cemetery of Playa Del Carmen. Leonid was a great artists,

So... It's been about a year and a half since I last wrote a journal, and probably almost as long since I last posted anything.  That is, until tonight (or morning, whatever). For the make-believe people who read these things =P  : If you have kept yourself updated on my not-very-frequent journals, you may have noticed that last November I participated in NaNoWriMo.  You may have also noticed that on one of my prose works, http://fav.me/d3g01iv here, that I wanted to continue on with this story, and not just leave it as a tantalizing one time piece with no continuation.  I know I was going to do it for the 100 Themes, but if you haven't gathered already, I'm pretty inconsistent with my writings. Which ties back to the NaNoWriMo thing...  No, I didn't reach the goal of 50,000
